Based in San Antonio, the South Texas Thunderbird Club (STTC) is a family oriented organization with the goal of having fun, enjoying and preserving our Thunderbirds among friends. It is an active chapter of the Vintage Thunderbird Club International (VTCI) organization. This elevates interest in this beautiful car to a world wide level. There is a separate membership for each organization.

KENS5-TV BILL TAYLOR ANNUAL CHISTMAS TOY DRIVE!
Thanks to all who participated in the KENS5-TV Bill Taylor Annual Christmas Toy Drive on Friday, November 15th at Target at The Forum. Fun, Fun, Fun was had by all who joined us!
The STTC bought and donated $500 in toys/stuffed animals and it is reported that our Members donated another $500 in toys/stuffed animals! We and our and Tbirds were decorated for
Christmas as we drove through the Toy Collection line headed by Bill Taylor and "Elves". We caused quite a stir with our 1955-2005 Tbirds loaded with toys to donate. I found one
short video that KENS5-TV put out and after the 2 minute mark you will see our Danny & Kathy Varella, along with Bill Taylor, as they highlited the first 2 Tbirds to go through
the Collection line. Here is a copy of that youtube link to view.
Kathy Varella was
able to video most of our 10 Tbirds as we were lining up to go through the Collection line. The first two were led by Gary & Carolyn Faught & Brian & Marilyn Carron in their
Babybirds! Here is that video.
