WELCOME TO OUR CLUB!

Based in San Antonio, the South Texas Thunderbird Club (STTC) is a family oriented organization with the goal of having fun, enjoying and preserving our Thunderbirds among friends. It is an active chapter of the Vintage Thunderbird Club International (VTCI) organization. This elevates interest in this beautiful car to a world wide level. There is a separate membership for each organization.

STINSON FIELD VIDEO!

Thanks to all who participated in our In-Town Cruise to Stinson Field on August 26th, 2023! Some 40+ Tbird owners (and about half as many Tbirds!) of the STTC & CTCI Tbird Clubs enjoyed the great food of the Trailblazer Cafe, hosted by Cafe Owners Josh & Stephanie Smith & Staff. Josh was able to get permission for all of us to park our Tbirds on the Tarmac for the entire time we were there. He was able to get the World War II era Texan T-6 Trainer on the field for picture taking with it. Unfortunately, he was not able to get the P-51 Mustang there because it was being repaired in the shop. As I recall, there were two lines of Tbirds when all had arrived. This just shows the early first arrivals. Thanks to STTC member Seth Nelson, we have a short video he took of the Tbirds on the Tarmac! When you click on the video Right Arrow, the video will play. Quickly click on the little square icon to the right of the Speaker icon. That will take you to Full Screen. When the video completes click on your keyboard ESC button or that little square icon and it will take you back to the webpage. Thanks, Seth! A lot of photos were taken on Saturday that I am sure Bruce will be featuring in the September STTC Tbird Tales Newsletter! Congratulation to Bruce Reader, our STTC Tbird Tales Newsletter Editor! I announced that our STTC Newsletter had been awarded our 8th (as I recall) VTCI Newsletter Gold Award at the VTCI International Convention In Georgia!
